Myn is recruiting an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse for a high-quality care home in Cheshire. Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care: Maintain the highest level of clinical care and standards within the unit on each shift.
Resident Care: Oversee individualised care plans for each resident, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated.
Team Management: Supervise and coach non-registered care and support staff, fostering a supportive team culture.
Communication & Coordination: Maintain open communication with residents, relatives, and healthcare professionals, addressing any changes in health.
Medication Management: Ensure the safe ordering, storage, administration, and disposal of medication in line with policies and best practice.
Safeguarding & Compliance: Identify and report incidents, accidents, and safeguarding concerns, participating in investigations as needed.
About You:
Qualifications: Registered Nurse (Sub Part 1 or 2) with a Diploma in Nursing or related field.
Experience: Previous nursing experience in a care home or clinical environment, with experience in supervising care staff and maintaining clinical standards.
Knowledge: Understanding of nursing and care home regulations, a person-centred approach, and experience in risk assessment and management.
Skills: Clinical competence, conflict management, effective communication, and the ability to handle complex situations calmly and professionally.
Desirable:
Additional Skills: Experience in a multi-disciplinary environment, knowledge of ageing physiology, and the ability to mentor student nurses.
