Power BI Developer - Up to £55,000 + Benefits
We are currently seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our client's dynamic IT team. This role offers the opportunity to be based anywhere in Scotland, with a requirement to attend the office once per week in Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Aberdeen.
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop efficient SQL queries and monitor query performance.
- Integrate data from various systems into a data warehouse, utilising tools such as SSIS.
- Create clear and comprehensive documentation to support development and usage.
- Work collaboratively in a small team environment, maintaining excellent working relationships with colleagues.
- Communicate effectively in a clear, courteous, and professional manner across the organisation.
Person Specification:
- Experience developing solutions within a Law Firm, particularly for Finance, Business Development, and Marketing Departments would be beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, using initiative to identify and resolve issues.
- Strong technical proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Analysis Services, SSRS, SSIS, and SQL.
- Proven experience in dashboard and data visualisation development using Power BI.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to interact with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong problem management and resolution skills.
- Knowledge of data architecture and design principles.
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Power BI within the company.
