HR Compliance Administrator

Reed Business Support are recruiting on behalf of a client based in Bradford who is looking for a dedicated HR Compliance Administrator to join the HR department on a fixed term contract. This role is pivotal in providing a central staff recruitment administrative function to their fostering and residential services, ensuring that vacancies are processed efficiently, following quality-driven systems, and meeting performance targets.
Day to Day of the role:
- Oversee the ‘new starter' recruitment process, including updating applications, conducting DBS checks, obtaining references, and ensuring candidate files are complete.
- Maintain spreadsheets and databases, analyse and interpret data as requested.
- Attend and contribute to weekly recruitment meetings and lead on the recruitment of specific roles when requested.
- Adhere to safer recruitment processes and internal compliance, escalating concerns where applicable.
- Quality assure completed applicant files in readiness for a start date.
- Manage leaver processes and employee changes effectively.
- Liaise with payroll to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Support the HR Compliance Coordinator and HR Support Officer in the administration of ongoing projects.
- Perform general administrative duties including filing, shredding, photocopying, scanning, office maintenance, handling post, answering phones, data inputting, auditing, diary management, and chasing missing paperwork.
- Participate in relevant meetings and produce notes where applicable.
