Job Title: Plumber/ Fitter
Location: PE29 Hinchingbrooke
Pay rate: £16.76 per hour
Days: 37.5 hours per week Mon till Fri 08.00hrs till 16.30hrs
Start date: Available immediately
Length of contract: Initially 12 Weeks
GI Group Recruitment are now recruiting for an Plumber/Fitter for our Public Sector client on an interim basis. Your duties will cover a range of maintenance work including planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, specialist testing, fault finding and repair of equipment and installation work. You will oversee others on fault-finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation of complex plant.
Main duties of the Plumber/Fitter
- To Diagnose any faults.
- Carry out repairs and maintain the building engineering services, plant and equipment.

Criteria
- BTEC National Certificate or Diploma or Advanced Modern Apprenticeship (NVQ level 3 with key skills) in Heating and Plumbing
- Completion of a structured training program in heating or plumbing for a minimum period of 3 years.
- IOSH Working Safely Desirable not essential.
- AP trained Desirable not essential.
- To be thorough and pay attention to detail.
- Have the ability to work well with others.
- Have the ability to use your initiative.
- The ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools.
