Instrumentation Engineer

Paying up to £41p/h (Umbrella)
ARM has partnered with an Aerospace client who is looking for an Instrumentation Engineer to be based out of their manufacturing site in Bristol. As the Instrumentation Engineer, you'll be responsible for testing the structural technologies on aircraft projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting Risk assessment, Safe Systems of Work & Health / Safety Compliance
- Assisting in delivering structural tests when required.
- Coordination of all internal and external contributors, stakeholders, and suppliers
- Participating in the test center weekly team meetings
- Delivering of technical specialisms in industrial control systems (MOOG Aerospace test software, MTS Aeropro preferable) and/or test data acquisition (HBK, Catman preferable)
- Support in the development of training methodology and material.
Experience required:
- Educated (or equivalent proven experience) in control systems engineering or a related discipline (e.g. Aerospace, Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, Physics)
- Have experience in the delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality.
- Ideally have experience in structures, materials, or systems testing - desirable
- Be skilled in one of the following disciplines - Instrumentation, control systems, data acquisition, or hydraulic control.
- Have experience in industrial control systems (MOOG / MTS) or test data acquisition (HBK / Catman)
- Have a good understanding of hydraulics - specifically servo-hydraulic control.
