Cyber Security Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cyber Security Analyst to join an expanding Post Sales Team within a dynamic company. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technologist with a proven track record across a range of on-premises and cloud-based systems/services. This role requires experience in various security architectures, technologies, controls, processes, procedures, and governance, with a focus on delivering secure, compliant, and robust systems and procedures.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Establish and maintain best practice security services and controls for customers.
- Provide first response to cyber security incidents, analyse, mitigate, remediate, and recover from customer threats.
- Consult with customers on security systems, services, controls, and industry best practices.
- Undertake security-focused project work, including consulting, designing, deploying customer security systems and services.
- Manage and monitor security alerts and notifications triggered by customer security systems and services.
- Run routine security reports to understand customers' current security posture, take appropriate actions, and provide recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in roles such as OC Analyst & Security Analyst.
- Exposure to securing a wide range of technologies, systems, services, and devices.
- Experience using Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Security-related certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CCSP, SSCP, CISA.
- Broad understanding of technology solutions in corporate environments.
- Experience working in a managed service environment is distinctly advantageous.
