Are client is looking for an experienced and highly skilled procurement professional to join our team and strengthen our purchasing function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage procurement processes
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and forward plans, ensuring a continuous, compliant procurement cycle that aligns with organisational goals.
- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers
- Negotiating with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers to ensure on-going feasibility.
- Ensuring compliance with the latest public procurement regulations, including the identification of appropriate frameworks and advertising of tenders.
Key Experience:
- Proven success in a similar role.
- Experience in contract management and procurement within medium to large organizations.
- Strong ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- In-depth knowledge of legislation and regulations related to procurement and contract management.
- Experience in generating income and preparing bids for grant funding.
- As the role involves working with schools, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced level Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
