We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic German Teacher to join our team at a leading school in Plymouth. As a German Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to secondary age students. The school focusses on creating learners with a high willingness to learn, supporting them throughout primary and secondary settings. The low student count of 96, has created a community feel which is conducive to learning, enabling stronger bonds to form between people at the school and their teachers. The school is also easily accessible by public transport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students
  • Displaying a sincere desire to see all pupils improve.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Develop positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including attending meetings and events.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience of teaching German to students or a relevant degree
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to the wellbeing of students and the ability to build positive relationships with them.
