Warehouse Operative

We are looking for a diligent Warehouse Operative to join our team. The role involves a variety of warehouse tasks, from picking and packing to maintaining stock levels and ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently. The ideal candidate will be a team player, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards of organisation and safety.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Picking products from stock using picking lists and despatch documents.
- Checking the packaging and condition of products prior to despatch.
- Organising goods in cages ready for loading and ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and tidy.
- Reporting on levels of consumables and packaging materials.
- Adhering to all Health and Safety guidelines and legislation.
- Safely using warehouse equipment and ensuring secure storage of goods.
- Supporting the Logistics Supervisor and covering various duties in their absence.
- Handling the printing of delivery notes and using company systems effectively.
- Safely loading and unloading vehicles, checking incoming products, and updating the computer system.
- Conducting daily inventory counts and managing returns administration.
- Liaising with other departments and ensuring all documentation is actioned correctly.
