An opportunity has arisen to join Fortescue ZERO as a Receptionist in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment. The role involves supporting the smooth day to day running of Fortescue ZERO HQ. This includes the operations of the reception, meeting rooms and assistance in the office area. This position will act as the first point of contact to external visitors both in person and over the telephone and will therefore be required to deliver a high quality of customer service which is friendly, helpful, professional, discrete and resourceful at all times.

Job role:

  • To be the first point of contact for visitors to Fortescue ZERO, ensuring that the service and experience delivered meets our brand values and that they feel welcome and valued upon arrival.
  • Manage visitor bookings through Envoy, ensuring visitors are logged in to the system on arrival and working with the security team to swiftly handle any unexpected visitors in an appropriate manner.
  • Manage the incoming calls for the business, screening calls, forwarding to appropriate members of staff and taking messages where appropriate.
  • Manage the hospitality bookings for Fortescue ZERO, evaluating suitability for the type of meeting being held, forwarding them to the catering suppliers within agreed SLA's and supporting the catering team with delivery and cleaned up when appropriate.
  • Authorise and mange meeting room bookings, ensuring the Boardroom is cleared and cleaned between bookings particularly where hospitality has been arranged.
  • Manage pool car bookings and returns in accordance with Fortescue ZERO procedures, including booking maintenance requests and valet booking.
  • Manage the stationary supplies, including re-stocking as required.
  • Receive and coordinate the post and email enquiries received to the general enquiries and reception inbox.
  • Providing administrative support to Office Management and Facilities, including programming access passes, reporting any building/facilities issues, assisting new starters with their first day inductions, and another other ADHOC admin required.

You'll have:

  • Previous customer service experience in a front of house role
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office suite
  • Friendly and welcoming disposition
  • The ability to organise regular duties around frequent visitors, whilst being flexible and organised
