Description
- Oversee all financial reporting procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure integrity of the Balance Sheet through management and monitoring of reconciliations, both locally and through the European Financial Share Services.
- Identify and highlight any potential process and control issues for review.
- Monitor systems and processes around the Governance area, identify any potential areas of weakness or improvement, target them and proactively offer workable, practical solutions
- Develop and implement robust governance procedures within the department.
- This role requires supervision and support to junior members of the team.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure financial controls are in place and effective.
- Provide strategic financial insights to help guide business decisions.
- Manage a team of financial professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards, ensuring the company remains in compliance.
- Participate in key projects as a financial representative.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding financial performance and strategies.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- ACA/ACCA.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and governance procedures.
- Experience in managing a high-performing team.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
