Edward Mann are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager position on an initial 6-month FTC basis on behalf of a leading international media group.
Our client is looking for a Senior Finance Manager who will take responsibility for Balance Sheet management across multiple agencies, ensuring a tight controls environment, working closely with the commercial teams on contract compliance and ensuring revenue is allocated correctly. This position will also play a key part in the Audit process, preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP with US GAAP conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for Balance Sheet Accounting & Reconciliations
- Monthly Balance Sheet Analysis at local and regional level across multiple agencies
- Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Statutory Accounts preparation for multiple entities under UK GAAP with US GAAP conversions
- US GAAP reviews of full P&L and Balance Sheets across all entities
- Treasury management of Foreign Exchange Rates
- Contract Compliance - ensuring balances are in-line with contractual requirements
- Ensure revenue is allocated accurately and correctly
- VAT Returns
- Intercompany balance reports
Desirables
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent), candidates who are not qualified but have relevant experience may also still be considered
- Previous experience working within a Media Agency would be beneficial but not essential
- SAP, Hyperion and DDS (Mediaocean) experience is desirable but not essential
