E-commerce Specialist

As an E-commerce Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the online e-commerce websites operate smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for uploading and managing product listings, maintaining product data accuracy, and optimising product presentation to enhance the overall customer experience.
In this role you will need to be a self-starter and be able to collate information based on the brief given to you. This role is based in Aston.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Copywriting: Headlines, category pages, product descriptions, promo offers, landing pages — these are all places where your writing skills can help generate sales.
  • Product Uploads: Upload and update product listings on the e-commerce platform, ensuring accurate and engaging product descriptions, images, and pricing.
  • Data Accuracy: Maintain data accuracy by regularly reviewing and correcting product information, including SKU numbers, specifications, and inventory levels.
  • Content Optimisation: Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to optimise product content, ensuring it aligns with brand's messaging and appeals to our target audience.
  • Customer Experience: Work to enhance the overall customer experience by ensuring product information is clear, accurate, and up-to-date, and that the website's navigation is user-friendly.
  • Competitor Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor product stock levels, update inventory records, and coordinate with the purchasing and inventory team to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in product uploads and management within an e-commerce environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and content creation.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and content management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset with a passion for e-commerce and online retail.
