Our client a nursery based in Colchester are seeking a level 3 childcare practitioner to join their amazing team on a full time, permanent basis, offering a salary around £12.49 per hours working 40 hours per week. What will you be doing?

You will be working closely with the nursery management team to support room-based staff. You will be promoting a high standard of quality within the nursery. You will be caring and teaching young children, you will be responsible for supporting and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. You will help create a warm, inclusive, and safe learning environment, and engage in purposeful and structured play to support children's development across all areas of the curriculum. You will also communicate effectively with parents and caregivers and maintain accurate records of children's learning and development.

What skills will you have ?

  • You have fantastic organisation skills
  • You are able to work as part of a team
  • You have a positive attitude and creative ideas to inspire learning
  • You have good verbal and written communication skills

you will have a level 3 childcare qualification

  • Background in working to the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • At least 1 year experience as a nursery practitioner or similar
  • Experience of working and communicating with parents and carers
  • Commitment to outdoor learning
