The VAT Manager will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Collate data previously reported in the VAT returns, and using that data complete VAT returns
- Identify differences within the reconciliations, investigate those differences and provide a resolution
- Monitor the VAT workflow for an extensive client base
- Work with the wider business to understand any VAT issues and provide guidance and advice to resolve
- Build trusted relationships with clients, confidently representing the firm to a high standard
- Confidently work with the wider tax team to attract new business opportunities to grow the firm's VAT client portfolio, including networking events
About You:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others
- Previous experience or involvement in a business development environment
- Relevant experience in a practice environment or a similar role is essential
- Ability to work alone as well as in a team
- A leader of your work and your professional learning
