About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisors to join our team in Buxton, Derbyshire. As a Cover Supervisor, you will support Key Stage 3 and 4 students by delivering planned work during teacher absences. This role is essential for maintaining a high standard of education and ensuring that students continue to learn effectively even when their regular teacher is not present.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support Key Stage 3 and 4 students in the absence of their regular teacher.
Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain on task.
Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
Provide feedback to teachers regarding student progress and any issues that arise during cover lessons.
Be prepared for potential last-minute calls to cover classes.
Requirements:
Experience working in secondary schools.
Strong classroom management skills.
Ability to engage and motivate students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and reliability.
A valid driving license is preferred due to the location and the potential for short-notice assignments.
