Management Accountant
Based: Bury
Salary: circa £40k + benefits
Our client are a well-established, well-known business based in Bury. Established over 50 years ago, they have grown over the last few years and have a long standing workforce with a great culture and fantastic offices.
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to cover maternity leave for around 12 months. Looking for someone to start in October to facilitate a strong handover of 2-3 months
Role:
- Preparing management accounts for multiple business entities for review by the Financial Controller
- Assisting with group pack preparation for the board
- Quarterly VAT returns for all entities
- Ensuring transactional team provide relevant information for the accounts
- Accruals, prepayments, journals, balance sheet reconciliations
- Working with Financial Controller & Finance Director on various tasks
Experience:
- Part-qualified, qualified or QBE
- Strong management accounts experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi task
- Proven experience of preparing management accounts to a high standard to strict deadlines
