We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in the East Midlands, who are recruiting for an Electrician on a temporary 3-month contract. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go permanent. The hourly rate is from £30-£32 per hour on a CIS basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience of conducting Electrical works within social housing and hold a full UK Driving License.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Carrying out electrical testing, repairs and upgrades to tenanted and void properties within social housing
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
- Using a hand-held PDA for all jobs issued, keeping an accurate and timely record of work, accurately recording material allocation and usage, ensuring the closing of completed jobs
- Completing detailed and accurate risk assessments before completing any works, ensuring compliance with corporate health and safety policies
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience working with customers within housing
- Experience of conducting Electrical works within social housing
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Risk assessment and management
- Knowledge of social housing
Working hours :
- 40 hours per week
- Monday - Friday, 8.00am-4.30pm
