Responsibilities, Skills & Experience needed for the role Architect:
- ARB registered or working towards.
- Collaborate closely with the senior team members, providing support and taking instruction.
- Conduct site appraisals and review conceptual leads based on local plans and relevant planning policies.
- Lead or support the creative design process, translating client briefs into workable conceptual designs.
- Prepare and submit planning packages efficiently, meeting tight deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, statutory authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring attention to detail and maintaining composure under pressure.
- Mentor junior team members and represent the practice professionally in external interactions.
- Proficiency in Sketchup Pro, Enscape/CGI Visual modelling, AutoCAD, and Revit or similar BIM software.
- Strong understanding of the UK planning applications and building regulations.
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
- A proactive, motivated, and professional approach, with a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
