Responsibilities, Skills & Experience needed for the role Architect:

  • ARB registered or working towards.
  • Collaborate closely with the senior team members, providing support and taking instruction.
  • Conduct site appraisals and review conceptual leads based on local plans and relevant planning policies.
  • Lead or support the creative design process, translating client briefs into workable conceptual designs.
  • Prepare and submit planning packages efficiently, meeting tight deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, statutory authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring attention to detail and maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Mentor junior team members and represent the practice professionally in external interactions.
  • Proficiency in Sketchup Pro, Enscape/CGI Visual modelling, AutoCAD, and Revit or similar BIM software.
  • Strong understanding of the UK planning applications and building regulations.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
  • A proactive, motivated, and professional approach, with a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
