gap personnel Exeter, working in partnership with a leading wholesaler who are currently looking for Warehouse Operatives in Newton Abbot on a temp to perm basis.
As a Warehouse Operative your duties will include:
- Picking multiple items and ensuring they are labelled and packaged securely.
- Working in chilled environment (freezer)
- To ensure accurate picking and loading of stock items in line with the picking sheet daily.
- Accurate picking and loading of inter-depot transfer as required.
- Collect customer requests for stock as necessary.
- To ensure that designated areas are kept clean, tidy, and free from hazards liable to cause injury.
About You:
- Previous work in history within Warehouse, Picking, Packing or Production (beneficial)
- Good level of English
- Happy to work in cold temperatures
The available shifts and pay:
- Monday – Friday, 9am to 5.30pm
- £11.44 pay rate
- £4.50 freezer bonus
Successful candidates will be pro-active team workers, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
