Management Accountant
South Norfolk with hybrid working (3/2 split)
Up to £45,000 (DOE)
Our client, a large and highly successful business in South Norfolk, are seeking a Management Accountant to join their business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a varied and challenging role.
Ideal candidates will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or studying with solid management accounting experience. They will also have experience leading and supporting junior members of the team and strong IT skills in particular Excel.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts to deadlines, including
- Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Monthly KPI and trend Analysis
- Organisation and review of periodic stocktakes
- Maintaining the company's Fixed Asset Register and analysing capex spend
- Reporting of monthly results into the Group Reporting software (Cognos), including preparation and submission of supportive information, especially around half year and year end.
- Supporting the year-end audit process, preparing information for external auditors
- Preparation of rolling cash flow forecasts
- Supporting the budget and re-forecasting process
- Ad-hoc special reports and analysis
- Preparation of quarterly Vat Returns and Governmental Statistical Reporting
- Assistance with Internal Controls Compliance and evolving Internal processes, including working with Group Internal Audit.
- Assistance in the implementation of a new company ERP system (Navision) and interpretation of manufacturing variances and profitability reporting
