We are delighted to be once again partnering with an innovative beauty and cosmetics brand, assisting them in their search for a part time (3 days a week) Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their bubbly team in West London.
The successful candidate will support the Credit Controller and the Finance team in managing Business Partners' accounts, chasing debts, providing great customer service and supporting the Sales team
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process incoming payments (B2B only)
- Proactively maximize cash collection and ensure KPIs are achieved
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger (B2B only) to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Prepare and send statements of account to customers
- Work with Sales and Operations team to resolve customer disputes promptly and efficiently
- Monitor and maintain AR mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer enquiries and internal communications
- Record of promotional and marketing expenses and update of internal tracker
- Access and manage customer portals to help reconcile data on SAP
- Maintain and update customer records in the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Provide support to the finance team as needed
CANDIDATE PROFILE / REQUIREMENTS
- Ideally 2 years' experience within a similar role
- Experience in retail sector would be beneficial
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent commercial awareness and knowledge
- Intermediate Excel skills (Formulas, Pivot table, xlookup, conditional formatting)

- Working hours are flexible (start between 8:30am-9:30am)
- Based in West London office 3 days a week
