Our client are an International Software company, looking for a tech savvy Sales Support Representative to support their sales team on a 12 month contract basis. You will be providing troubleshooting support for our team of sales agents using Salesforce, Amazon Connect, and related sales reporting tools. This role is critical in driving projects that enhance sales agent productivity, delivering both medium-term improvements and immediate marginal gains. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth lead passing from marketing to sales within agreed SLAs and provide insightful reporting to sales managers to drive channel performance. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with key enabling partners to enhance the sales agent experience with tools like Salesforce.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and Support: Serve as the go-to individual for troubleshooting and support for a team of sales agents using Salesforce, Amazon Connect, and related sales tools.
  • Project Management: Lead projects aimed at improving sales agent productivity, focusing on both medium-term improvements and immediate marginal gains.
  • Lead Management: Support the lead pass process from marketing to sales, ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs.
  • Insight Reporting: Provide daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to sales managers to drive channel performance.
  • Collaboration: Work with key partners to enhance the sales agent experience with various tools, particularly Salesforce.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Communication: Manage projects effectively while providing clear and concise updates to key stakeholders.
  • Data Acumen: Connect disparate data sets to identify patterns and root causes.
  • Insight Communication: Translate insights into actionable recommendations that influence decision-making.
  • Project Management: Drive short-term projects with clear plans, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Standardisation: Execute current processes and continuously seek ways to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prioritisation: Rank and pursue opportunities with the most immediate benefit and identify opportunities for future gains.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships within the team and with key internal stakeholders.
  • Domain Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of sales workflow principles and processes to provide frontline agent support.

Tools and Experience:

  • Previous experience supporting sales teams using Salesforce.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including data manipulation and presentation.
  • Experience with Alteryx, Eloqua, Adobe eSign, prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cognism), sales cadence tools (e.g., HVS, SalesLoft), and BI tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau) is a plus.
