Class 2 Multi-Drop HGV Driver
Job Description:
We are seeking Class 2 HGV Drivers (C1), who will be responsible for transporting goods using heavy goods vehicles on temporary but ongoing basis.
Hours of work: varied shifts available, but weekends are a requirement
Pay: from £17:45 phr to £21.39 phr (OT also available)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 2 HGV vehicles to transport goods to specified destinations.
- Loading and unloading goods.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate driving logs and records as required by law.
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptly.
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.
Experience:
- Valid Class 2 HGV license (C+E Licence) - must have a minimum of 12 months experience.
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
