The role involves managing enquiries, assisting with audits, and resolving warranty queries by collaborating with various internal departments. Additionally, the role will focus on identifying retailer development needs and ensuring compliance with service level agreements, maintaining high standards of service, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the warranty process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Warranty Lead to meet and exceed KPIs set by HME/HMC, ensuring alignment with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
  • Oversee the processing of warranty claims and prior work authority (PWA) requests, ensuring all actions meet service level agreements established with the retailer network.
  • Respond promptly to all emails, GWMS hotline enquiries, and phone calls, maintaining high service standards for retailer communication.
  • Proactively identify and escalate retailer issues or development needs, as uncovered through warranty claims, PWAs, and remote audit results, to the Warranty Lead.
  • Partner with HMUK internal teams, including Technical Services and Customer Services, to effectively resolve warranty-related queries.
  • Assist in reviewing outstanding factory return claims and unpaid dealer claims, ensuring all issues are resolved in collaboration with the Warranty Lead.
  • Participate in remote audits, utilising internal audit systems and workshop automation platforms to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Accurately manage and process any chargebacks following a remote audit, ensuring proper administration and resolution.

Person Specification:

  • Motivated by achieving and surpassing ambitious targets, while consistently upholding high standards and service levels.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Skilled in efficiently reviewing and processing automotive warranty claims with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicator, capable of effectively liaising with both internal teams and retailer colleagues.
  • Numerically proficient with strong articulation skills.
  • Confident in using digital technology and adapting to new systems.
  • Highly disciplined and organised, with the ability to manage specialised projects within set budgets.
  • Committed to ensuring projects are completed and implemented on time and to a high standard.
  • Strongly customer-focused, with a dedication to delivering exceptional service.
