Position: Nursery Room Leader
Location: Outskirts of Doncaster
Pay Rate: £12-£14 per hour, dependent on experience
Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Academics is seeking a dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join a fantastic family-run nursery situated on the charming outskirts of Doncaster. This nursery, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, offers a unique environment for children to learn and grow, featuring its very own petting zoo on a beautiful farm.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery room, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for the children.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development.
- Lead and support a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance and fostering a positive working atmosphere.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a nurturing community.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of children, maintaining accurate records and reports.
Key Requirements:
- A recognised childcare qualification (Level 3 or above).
- Proven experience in a nursery setting, ideally in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
