My client has a strong reputation for excellence in their market and they are seeking to build on this and grow from their current £2-3M turnover. To do this, they are looking for a qualified accountant to join them on the journey. As they grow, so do you - and vice versa.
Reporting directly to the board, you will take on all aspects of day to day finance (with support for transactional work). So you can expect:
- Financial Accounting - meeting deadlines, ensuing financial compliance
- Management Accounting - developing KPIs and reports that enable the business to make sound decisions
- Commercial Accounting - working with operations staff to ensure that projects and contracts are correctly scoped out - and accounted for
To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with an enquiring mind and a desire to develop your career. A strong understanding of what it takes to develop a business to the next level would be a distinct advantage but most important is a zest for taking on the next challenge.
