Website QA £450-£500pd Outside IR35, 6 Month Contract Predominantly Remote (2-4 days per month in Central London) Website Redesign for Leading Publisher

Our client is seeking a skilled Website QA Specialist to join their inclusive and collaborative team for a website redesign project for a leading household name in publishing. This 6-month contract is predominantly remote, requiring only 2 to 4 days on-site in Central London each month.

As a Website QA Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of the redesigned website. Your responsibilities will include feature testing, web architecture QA, email marketing integration verification, systems integration testing, data capture form validation, participation in agile development processes, performance management QA, and backend testing.

To apply for this Website QA Specialist role, your skills and experience should include:

  • Shopify Experience: Proven experience in QA for Shopify platforms.
  • Headless WordPress: Expertise in Headless WordPress or similar platforms, including Multi Site, with a focus on QA.
  • Gutenberg Blocks: Experience in testing and validating Gutenberg Blocks (both front and backend).
  • React: Proficiency with React, including QA best practices.
  • Tracking and Data Layer QA: Experience in implementing and maintaining tracking via the data layer.
  • WordPress Themes QA: Skilled in testing WordPress themes to ensure design fidelity and functionality.
  • Front-End Languages: Strong knowledge of multiple front-end languages, including PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, React/Next.js, SCSS, CSS, and JQuery, with a focus on QA.
  • Web Architecture: Good understanding of web architecture and responsive design principles.
  • PHP and MySQL: Strong understanding of QA for PHP back-end development and MySQL databases.
  • API Integration: Knowledge of interacting with GraphQL data and RESTful APIs (JSON, XML).
  • Debugging Tools: Proficiency in using debugging tools.
  • Testing: Experience in unit/integration testing.
  • Version Control and CI/CD: Proficiency with version control (GitHub) and CI/CD platforms (e.g., Buddy, GitHub Actions).
