Page Executive has been retained on a search for an exceptional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the Executive Leadership team of a well established market leading company based near Cardiff. As the business continues it's remarkable growth journey, this role requires a strategic thinker with robust financial and commercial acumen to lead the accounting and finance function, while supporting the company on delivering it's key commercial objectives.

Description

This is an exciting opportunity:

  • Leading the finance and IT function, overseeing all fiscal activity within the company, including budgeting, forecasting, commercial and regulatory reporting, payroll, and audit.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the Board and advise on long-term business and financial planning, including evaluation and analysis of commercial investments and Company liabilities.
  • Control and evaluate the Company fund-raising plans and develop relationships with key external stakeholders to fuel further growth.
  • Implement robust financial controls and systems, and KPI reporting while ensuring sound cash flow management to ensure optimum Company performance.
  • Identify and implement strategic growth opportunities, business partnering with senior managers in the business.

Profile

The successful Chief Financial Officer should have:

  • Relevant financial qualifications such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Proven experience in an executive financial management role within the B2B sector
  • Adept and operating both strategically and hands-on, with excellent knowledge of data analysis, and forecasting methods.
  • Experience of guiding businesses through various growth strategies, financial modelling and risk management
  • M&A experience, including acquisition integration.
  • Proficient knowledge of various financial management software and databases.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
