This is an outstanding opportunity with a leading national law firm, for a Paralegal with prior litigation experience to join its Social Housing Litigation Department based in Leeds.
You may come from a Housing Litigation background, general litigation or a candidate looking to develop their skills in litigation/law.

The team represent social housing providers in defending claims brought by tenants. The successful Housing Litigation Paralegal will join an existing paralegal team of three and handle housing disrepair claims. The work is fast paced, deadline driven and high volume.
You will be given supervision from one of the more senior members of staff and there will be lots of room for learning and development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with housing disrepair litigation under supervision from Solicitor/Associate/Partner
- File opening/closure
- On-going file management/administration including updating the case management system
- Scanning, photocopying and general document management
- Filing (both electronic and paper) ensuring client and matter records are maintained in line with firm procedures
- Other ad-hoc administrative duties
- Assist fee earners with any other matters pertinent to the social housing team
