? Working Pattern: Full Time (Monday to Thursday, 7am to 16.45pm)

As a Manufacturing Engineering Support, you will play a vital role in the Advanced Ceramic Department, supporting their production process and contributing to the manufacturing of Ceramic Capacitors. You will be responsible for fostering a continuous improvement culture, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and coordinating quality-related activities. ??

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage a continuous improvement culture within the organisation.
  • Identify and analyse data to drive process improvement.
  • Coordinate quality-related activities, reviews, and improvement actions.
  • Develop and coordinate training to enhance team skills and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Review data and run experiments to identify root causes and drive improvement efforts.
  • Liaise with Production Manager, QC test, and Engineering Support to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Support existing production processes, providing hands-on assistance.
  • Participate in the acceptance testing of new ceramic materials and processes.
  • Analyse customer returns and non-conformances, assisting in root cause analysis and necessary containment actions.
  • Enhance manufacturing processes, optimising parameters, tools, and materials.
  • Establish productive relationships with Engineering and Manufacturing departments to address issues and find resolutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in an Engineering discipline (Six sigma certification desirable).

Desired Experience:

  • Experience in Material/Passive Electronic Component roles in the electronics industry.
  • Candidates from similar process/production backgrounds will also be considered.

  • Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.

Additional Skills:

  • Effective communicator with proven relationship-building skills.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Meticulous work style with the ability to work independently.
  • Dependable, focused, and enjoys hands-on work.
