Tradewind Recruitment are actively seeking an experienced KS1 specialist to work in a large primary school within the Medway towns. The school is Ofsted rated 'Good' and the position is permanent and full time from September - salary will be MPS/UPS depending on experience.
The role:
- Plan and deliver creative lessons to a class within KS1
- Monitor and assess progress and ensure any gaps in learning are identified and closed efficiently
- Attend staff meetings, CPD and parents evenings when required
- Effectively communicate with teachers within KS1 and the wider school to ensure consistency with learning
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working across KS1 year groups is essential
- Strong behaviour management to ensure a productive learning environment where all pupils can thrive
- Right to work in the UK
- Hold or be willing to apply for a DBS certificate on the update service
