Our client, a service company based in Preston, are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy team.
Duties of the role include:
- Purchase ledger duties including processing invoices, dealing with supplier queries, reconciling statements and assisting with preparing payment runs
- Sales ledger duties including allocating payments, raising credit notes and setting up direct debits
- Credit control duties including chasing overdue accounts, setting up new customers and setting credit limits
- Bank reconciliations.
- Any other transactional accounting duties
This is a varied and fast-paced role therefore to be considered you need to have previous accounting experience either in purchase ledger or sales ledger/credit control or both. You must be organised, be able to work to tight deadlines and be a friendly and confident communicator.
