The successful individual will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial reporting and accounting operations. This role is perfect for a Qualified Accountant looking for their first steps out of practice.
The successful candidate could come from a variety of Firms including Big 4, Top 10 or Mid-Tier and the employer is open to either Audit or Business Advisory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results
- Oversee the maintenance of financial records, and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Detail-oriented individual who can ensure accurate client reports reconciliations
- Present financial statements to management and external stakeholders
- Develop and Lead implement processes to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting and accounting operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial analysis and insights
Qualifications:
- Newly Qualified Accountants (ACCA, ICAS, ICAEW, or CIMA)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

- Salary £45,000-£50,000
