Project Manager - Brickwork

A highly sought-after opportunity to work with a well-established brickwork company based out of Enfield who have been established for over 35 years. Due to the amount of work recently won and new projects being taken on, my client has never been busier and they have identified the need for a new Project Manager.
This is a two year fixed term contract and the successful candidate will be working on a £10M brickwork package on multiple residential tower blocks based out of Abbey Wood.
This Project is due to start in October 2024 and will run between 80 to 90 weeks and the successful candidate will have a team including supervisors and chargehands working underneath them
The Duties
- Delivering project from post Estimate through to completion
- Procurement of materials, Labour, and all Subcontract packages
- Produce Procurement Charts, RFI's, Tech Submittals etc.
- Management of directly employed and sub-contract/specialist labour
- Management of design process through to Completion
- Overseeing HSE activities
- Commercial Awareness, Variations, Applications, Cost Control
- Liaising with clients, attending and/ or chair project meetings
- Overseeing multiple projects and ensuring a high quality of Mechanical services installation
- Programming, planning, and reporting of all project management activities.
- Manage commissioning process through to handover.
The Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience.
A proven track record in a similar position is, however, considered essential.
- Brick Work project management background is essential
- Management of multiple projects with a value of up to £1m each
- Strong client facing skills
- Good level of IT literacy and strong organisational skills
- A desire to embrace training and development and progression within a business
