Events Executive
We are representing a prestigious international law firm known for its focus on private capital, who are seeking a talented Events Executive to join the Business Development & Marketing team. This role involves working closely with the Events Manager to plan and deliver an outstanding events programme. The primary focus will be on client events, both in-house and at external venues, as well as key internal events. This position is crucial in ensuring an exceptional client and brand experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including Partners and BD Managers, to discuss event briefs and provide expert advice.
- Support the Events Manager in managing the events pipeline and work allocation.
- Plan and project manage events from start to finish, including bookings, equipment, digital delivery, invite lists, catering, and on-site support.
- Liaise with external speakers and manage event rehearsals.
- Maintain and update the firm's events calendar on the intranet.
- Monitor event budgets, manage payments, and handle invoice queries.
- Ensure presentations adhere to brand standards.
- Communicate effectively with the Business Development team on event progress.
- Liaise with external agencies and venues as needed.
- Comply with all relevant legal and regulatory obligations.
Skills and Experience:
- Essential: Events experience in a law firm or professional services firm.
- Essential: Experience using Vuture.
- Preferred: Experience with InterAction.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude, and a team player.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
