Engage Education is working in partnership with a warm and supportive primary school in Wembley to recruit a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a Year 2 student with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a full-time, long-term role starting in September 2025.
The school is committed to nurturing pupils' emotional well-being alongside their academic development and provides excellent guidance and support for staff working with pupils who require additional support.

What We're Looking For:
This role is ideal for someone with experience working with children with SEMH or behavioural needs. Whether you're an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, or Behaviour Mentor, or have a background in child psychology or care, we'd love to hear from you.
You will:
- Be confident supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs
- Build strong, consistent, and trusting relationships with pupils
- Use positive behaviour strategies and a trauma-informed approach
- Remain calm and supportive in challenging situations
- Be committed to helping the pupil achieve both academically and emotionally
