Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a leading provider of bespoke commercial vehicle solutions to recruit them an experienced Head of Sales to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their business.

Our client specialises in vehicle conversions and customisations, delivering tailored solutions to businesses across various industries. With a strong commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, they take pride in providing high-quality, bespoke products designed to meet the unique needs of their clients.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the Head of Sales will be responsible for delivering the sales strategy through strong leadership, team development, and direct involvement in high-value fleet sales. You will lead, coach, and develop the sales team while taking a hands-on approach to driving new business from tier 1 fleet customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a high-performance sales culture, motivating and developing the team to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
  • Bring your expertise in light commercial vehicles (LCV) to the table, selling bespoke solutions to large fleet operators across construction, utilities, and retail sectors.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through industry knowledge, lead sourcing, and relationship building.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their vehicle needs are met.
  • Use CRM tools to track pipeline activity, forecast sales, and deliver against targets.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in leading sales teams with a focus on both people and sales growth.
  • Proven ability to sell LCV solutions to tier 1 fleet customers.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a hands-on approach to driving sales.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly in documentation management and data accuracy.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
