We are currently looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with a good knowledge of the Leeds market. Our Client has recently opened a new office in the area and is looking for support to grow a team.
The Role:
- Proven experience in designing a variety of schemes from inception to completion
- Ability to work with other design team members and clients in the design process
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A solid understanding and experience in the delivery or all infrastructure aspects of projects from both a technical approval and client viewpoint
- Supporting and developing junior staff members
- Have a good understanding of British Standards and Euro Codes as well as UK Building regulations
- Be proficient in the use of the following software:
TeklaTedds
Tekla Building Designer
AutoCAD
A basic knowledge of Revit
Microsoft Office
Your Experience
- Educated to degree level as a minimum, ideally a Masters Degree
- You will be chartered or approaching chartered status
- You will have a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
- Have a strong project history within large developments and having worked examples of these:
- Demonstrate experience in the following sectors -
Industrial / Logistics
Hotels
Residential
Offices
Public Sector
