Bennett and Game are currently on the lookout for a skilled Quality Manager for our client based in Portsmouth, who work within the marine engineering industry.

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Quality Manager with a genuine interest for marine engineering and health and safety measures within the quality department of a company.

**Quality Manager

Job Overview

  • Manage the quality function both in Demark and the UK - for the company.
  • Ensure that the company complies with the requirements of the marine equipment directive and regulations.
  • To provide the administration necessary to ensure the satisfactory maintenance of specified Quality, Production and Engineering records.
  • Co-ordinate and control efficiently the company's document, drawing and data control system.
  • Manage and conduct audits of company systems to ensure compliance with the Quality manual, relevant standards and customer requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Experience working in a quality management position - within engineering and manufacturing.
  • An understanding of ISO9001 and GDPR standards / regulations.
  • A strong engineering background and knowledge within marine engineering.
  • Experience with health and safety procedures and management within a business.
  • Based within a commutable distance of Portsmouth, Hampshire.
  • Full UK driving licence is strongly preferable.

**Quality Manager

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary - £48,000 to £50,000 - dependent upon experience.
  • Full time position - Monday to Friday.
  • Holiday package - 25 days + bank holidays.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Other company benefits - 10% bonus per year. 5% on personal objectives and 5% on meeting EBITDA for managers.
