Reed Education are currently supporting a school in the Maidenhead area to recruit for a Teaching Assistant to join the school as soon as possible.

What you need to know:
- This is a special needs school and therefore you will be working with students of a range of needs, including, autism, moderate and severe learning difficulties, complex needs and social emotional mental health needs.
- Staff need to be resilient, understanding, flexible and supportive. Although this is an extremely rewarding role, being a Teaching Assistant in special needs comes with its challenges.
- For the right Teaching Assistant, the school are looking to employ on a permanent basis, although initially the role is temporary and long term.
- The school support children of Primary, Secondary and Post-16 age groups, you may need to provide support to all ages at time, however, you will be given the opportunity to experience different phases to find the right class for you in the long term.
Who are we looking for:
- People from all walks of life, although some childcare experience is necessary.
- Someone with a knowledge and understanding of special educational needs and disabilities.
- Those with experience in a care, support work, foster caring or childcare background would be ideal for this position.
