Paraplanner

South Manchester

Circa £40,000 - £50,000 depending on qualifications

Are you looking for a move that could benefit you financially as well as for you career?

Would you prefer to be working within one of the top 100 Financial Services companies in the UK (award winning)?

Is it time to just be appreciated for your individual ability?

If any of the above are true, then it may be time for a move...

We are working with an established and well-known South Manchester based firm, who are currently looking at bringing on a Paraplanner to just their already successful team.

Unlike some Paraplanner roles, this is directly supporting the Financial Advisers whilst also managing and supporting a delegated client bank, developing relationships over time to be their point of contact. To do this, it wont be totally office based and instead will include face to face client meetings, supporting the Financial Adviser in person.

This is a hands on Paraplanner role and your responsibilities will include working closely with the Financial Adviser to discuss options for the client, putting together financial strategies and then working on putting together a presentation for said client.

Benefits of the Paraplanner role:

  • 30+ days holiday, increasing over time
  • Hybrid working and flexible hours
  • Pension
  • Death In Service cover
  • Income Protection
  • Exam study materials and financial support

Requirements to be considered:

  • 2+ years recent experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA firm
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (CII) / Level 6 Chartered would secure £40K+ salary
  • Strong telephone manner and written skills
  • Examples of working to deadlines, prioritizing workflow and working within a team
