HR Coordinator

Are you an HR professional looking for the next step in your career, within a supportive team? We are pleased to present an opportunity for a talented HR Coordinator to join our client's team in Peterlee on a 6 month FTC.

As an HR Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting with employee relations issues and providing strong administrative support to the wider HR team.

With exposure to a wide range of HR functions and opportunities for professional development, you'll expand your skill set during this contract which will support your career development.

What you will be doing:

  • Support and provide administration duties for the HR Team
  • Administration on the employee lifecycle including, new starter / on-boarding documents, leaver forms and carrying out exit interviews.
  • Monitor and maintain HR Files, ensuring that all records and data are held in accordance with GDPR.
  • Monitor employee probations periods, supporting line managers with arranging probation review meetings and probation review invite letters.
  • Monitor both HR and recruitment inbox, file transfer and general HR admin enquiries.
  • Ensure confidentiality is always maintained, including emails, letters, filing, etc.
  • Escalate any issues/queries to the wider HR Team as required to ensure that the company policies are followed, and a professional service is delivered to the business.
  • Taking and writing up notes in meetings.
  • Assisting in disciplinary and grievance investigations.
  • Support with any ad hoc HR projects as and when required.
  • Compliance with all company Policies & Procedures.

Experience you will have:

  • Qualifications: Degree in HR/Business (CIPD Level 3 or above).
  • Skills: Exceptional communication & organisation skills
  • Experience: Previous experience within an HR Administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

This 6-month fixed-term contract offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to enhance their experience within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

  • This is a fully site based role, so you must be able to commute to Peterlee daily, and be able to start by end of September.*
