Zeal Recruitment has been selected to help a well-established building contractor recruit for a Multi-
Trade Plumber on a permanent basis to join their team after a recent project win. This role will
cover the West Midlands area working on commercial/health care/leisure settings
Your duties as a Plumber will include:
- Diagnosing and completing a broad range of Planned and responsive repairs
- Maintenance of restrooms including but limited to toilets, basins & showers.
- Pipe changes and pipe installation
- Meeting client KPI's of quality, time keeping, productivity, appointments kept and right first time responsive repairs to minimise recalls.
- Ensuring all works are logged on the PDA given at the start of the position, including photos.
- Working within a team where necessary and with onsite management
- Liaising with Supervisor and management team
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe work space due working in a live environment
The Plumber will ideally have:
- Proven experience in a similar role from a maintenance background
- Experience with reactive repairs
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence
- CSCS card – Desirable
- Asbestos Awareness
- NVQ level 2 minimum in your primary trade
- IT literate
- High standard of working
- Good communicator
- IPAF/PASMA/First Aid – Advantageous
The successful Plumber will be working for a successful business who have a strong foothold within the maintenance sector. You will also receive a company van and fuel card, work wear, PPE, Phone, Tablet, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, Pension contribution, Private Health care after completion of 6 month probation.
