Our client, a leading lettings agency in Tooting, is seeking an experienced

Property Manager

to join their dynamic team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and customer-focused professional to manage a diverse portfolio of residential properties across London. If you have a passion for property and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary Contact: Act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants, providing exceptional service and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Insurance Claims Management: Raise and manage insurance claims as necessary, liaising with loss adjusters and coordinating estimates to ensure timely resolution.
  • Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections across your property portfolio, providing detailed reports to landlords and highlighting any issues that require attention.
  • Financial Oversight: Ensure service charge and ground rent invoices are processed promptly, and necessary funds are reserved.
  • Tenancy Administration: Handle all contractual paperwork during the tenancy, ensuring compliance with regulations and smooth processes.
  • Rent Arrears and Legal Notices: Support the client accounting team in chasing rent arrears, and serve legal notices when required.
  • Checkout Process: Arrange and oversee the checkout process, including evaluating potential deposit deductions and negotiating between landlords and tenants to reach fair conclusions.
  • Team Collaboration: Provide direct support to the property management team, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the department.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of residential property management experience within an office environment.
  • Customer Service: Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
  • Initiative: Ability to work independently, taking ownership of tasks and resolving issues proactively.
  • Organisation: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
