Reed Education is seeking a creative and inspiring Full-Time Art Teacher to join our network of dedicated educators. We are passionate about connecting schools with teachers who are committed to awakening students' creativity and fostering an appreciation for the visual arts.

Role Overview:

As an Art Teacher, you will be pivotal in providing high-quality art education to secondary school students. Your innovative approach to teaching will encourage students to develop their artistic skills and express themselves through various mediums, understanding the role of art in society and culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Differentiate instruction to cater to the diverse artistic abilities and learning styles of students.
  • Incorporate a range of artistic techniques and digital media to enhance students' learning experience.
  • Assess student artwork and provide constructive feedback to nurture artistic growth.
  • Collaborate with other art teachers to develop a dynamic and cohesive art curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Art or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching art at the secondary level.
  • A strong portfolio of art work and a passion for teaching art.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire students.
