Job Title: Senior Sub Contractor
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
Shift: 9 AM to 5 PM
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Sub Contractor to oversee subcontract formation and administration for various projects, ensuring compliance and managing subcontractor performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of subcontract formation and administration.
- Prepare RFQs/RFPs and assign contract flow-down provisions.
- Evaluate subcontractor proposals and conduct risk assessments.
- Develop negotiation strategies and award subcontracts.
- Maintain subcontract records and document small business plans.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and manage contract closeout.
- Collaborate with supply chain planners to align deliverables.
- Update policies and procedures as needed.
- Use ERP systems for data tracking and reporting.
- Progress high-value purchase orders through the approval process.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of ECSS, FAR, DFARS, DCAA, and other regulations.
- Familiarity with DCAA audits; MCIPS qualification is a plus.
- Knowledge of Source to Pay (S2P) and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Eight (8) plus years of subcontract management experience in federal contracts.
