Senior Manager - Platform Policy

They are now seeking a Senior Manager - Platform Policy to be responsible for playing a critical role supporting the firm's activities, engaging with Government and industry on the development of pension and savings policies. Additionally, you will:

  • Lead internal interactions with business stakeholders, helping the business understand, interpret and apply new rules and regulations.
  • Manage and produce responses to consultations on new policy and maintain the business' documented positions on existing and emerging policy issues.
  • Oversee the process of identifying and assessing new regulatory changes
  • Apply you knowledge of the intention of new policy to support business stakeholders to understand, communicate and deliver regulatory changes
  • Manage the Platform Policy Team's estate of documented policy positions, client briefing material and the promotion of policy activity within the business
  • Participate in industry and Governmental working groups looking at the application of regulatory changes

The scope of the role will also covers all GPS products and services (Pensions, SIPP, ISA, general investment accounts, investment solutions and guidance/advice services).

Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you possess a good understanding and experience of the pension and savings platform industry with knowledge of developing regulation. Additionally, your experience should also include analysing the impact of regulatory changes, as well as being able to engage with internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate an ability to influence strategic discussions.
