We are delighted to partner out client, a multi-site and growing organisation in the North East. Reporting to the People Manger and with a Chief People Officer leading the team, you will provide advice and guidance on a range of people issues.
The role is hands on, operational and fast paced, working closely with your own sites and their leadership teams.
What's involved
- Provide support and guidance across the sites on employee relations, disciplinary, grievance, appeals, absence management
- You will have exposure to TUPE, although experience isn't necessary as coaching will be provided
- Coaching managers and business leaders to enable them to make their own informed decisions on people related matters
- Support managers with performance management, to enable a high performing culture
- Involvement in Restructures
- Advise on capability issues
- Lead on the development of HR policies and procedures
- Support the development of strong communication with staff to support employee engagement
- Advising and supporting organisational change
- Work with Trade Unions, continuing the really good relationships
- Work on long term HR projects including wellbeing, engagement, EDI
What we need from you:
- CIPD Level 5
- Full driving licence and own car
- Experience of complex casework
- Experience working with senior managers
- Strong influencing skills
- Ability to manage your own diary
- Effective communication skills
- Strong team player
