Structural Engineer Required for out client who are a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy, who are currently seeking a Structural Engineer from their Bury St Edmunds office. The Structural Engineer will be working on projects predominantly in the energy sector however also involved across the residential, commercial, framework and coastal sectors and will be responsible for project delivery of these schemes.
The Structural Engineer will be Chartered or near Chartered with a minimum 7 years postgraduate experience and be able to carry out designs, in all materials, on a broad range of structural engineering projects.

Position Overview
- Provide client lead for large regional based projects
- Typical project values in the region of up to- £20 million.
- Engineering design, project management and contract administration
- Production and quality checking of project documentation, design calculations, drawings, etc.
- Proficient in the use of various in-house design and detailing software including Revit & Tekla.
- Undertake site inspections and surveys
- Liaising with other clients and project team members
- Managing/monitoring projects
- Motivate, coordinate and supervise team members
- Involvement in marketing/winning work, preparing fee proposals
- Site engineering and construction related queries
Structural Engineer Position Requirements
- Degree within Structural or Civil Engineering
- Morning towards chartership with ISTRUCTE
- 7+ years experience in a consultancy environment
- UK Driving Licence
- Familiar with Eurocode
- Good report writing skills
- Experience with aspects of civil engineering design including drainage would be advantageous
Structural Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary: £45k - £55k (Guide only - DOE)
